Glen Erin at Lancefield will be hosting the inaugural “Women Who Shine” morning tea, featuring guest speaker Ita Buttrose, on Saturday 12th November 2011 from 10am to 12pm. ‘Women Who Shine’ is a brand new women’s event in the Macedon Ranges Shire, which recognises the inspirational lives of the women in the local community. Whilst some women are recognised for academic or corporate achievements, those who live their lives in the background are often forgotten. This is an opportunity to acknowledge women who support, encourage and inspire those around them daily by nominating women within the Macedon Ranges community.
